Policy on Harmony with Communities
The DOWA Group will pursue initiatives that contribute to the development of communities depending on the characteristics of communities in which it operates, and by doing so, facilitate harmony with those communities.
- In the course of driving a range of business activities, including those conducted in mines and landfill sites in Japan and overseas, the Group will pursue a range of initiatives, such as environmental conservation and job creation, that lead to the sustainable development of communities, through dialogues with people in communities.
- By taking advantage of its strengths including its business characteristics, the Group will institute a range of support programs for communities struck by large-scale disasters.
- In its social contribution activities, the Group will promote activities while simultaneously showing respect for the culture and customs of communities.
